Simple Green Naturals Review and Giveaway! (US Only)

Now that I am a mother I want to help preserve the environment in anyway that I can. I know that the toxins we use in everyday life are hurting the environment in more ways than I know. To be honest though before Brea came into my life I never gave much thought to what the world would look like in 50 or 100 years. Now I want the world to stay beautiful and green for Brea and for her children!

When I came across the opportunity to review Simple Green Naturals I just had to give them a try. This is my first experience with Environmentally Friendly cleaners. I had this preconceived notion that if they were good for the environment then they would not have the cleaning power that the old fashion cleaners have. I was thrilled to learn that Simple Green Naturals not only cleaned well, but also left my home smelling clean and inviting!

A little about what Simple Green Naturals provides . . .
" 100% natural ingredient sources
• Biodegradable formulations
• Full ingredient disclosure
• International scientifically-accepted ingredient names
• Naturals scents are IFRA compliant and made of 100% natural essential oils & plant extracts.
• 100% recyclable PETE plastic bottles with 25%+ post-consumer content, printed with soy inks
• Natural Versus Naturally Derived - learn more
• Non-toxic formulations
• No animal testing"
The above information was obtained from the Simple Green Naturals web page.

My Opinion of Simple Green Naturals . . .

At first I was going to write an opinion for each cleaner, but that would have been a little repeatative. Instead I will just give you my overall opinion of the products and things that stood out to me. All of Simple Green Naturals cleaned as good if not better then the regular household cleaners I had been using.

I was very impressed with how the All Purpose Cleaner cleaned the food off of Brea's messy high-chair. Usually it needs quite a bit of scrubbing, but it seemed to come off with ease!

The Simple Green floor cleaner also stood out for me because it comes in a spray! I love that I can spray the floor and then mop it just makes life a little bit easier! I also really enjoyed the smell. It kind of reminded me of a forest smell!

I also have to mention the Simple Green Naturals Bathroom Cleaner! I absolutely loved the minty smell that lingered in my bathroom after cleaning. Much, much better than the regular smells of bathroom cleaner! It also cleaned the bathroom really well!

Everything else worked fabulously too! If you want to make the green conversion regarding your cleaning supplies then I definitely suggest giving Simple Green Naturals a try!

Simple Green Naturals are available to buy online and at many retail stores just check their site for a retailer close to you!

  49. I learned that some cleaners (often referred to as "natural") contain citrus extracts. Citrus extracts found in cleaners are typically either d-Limonene, or some form of terpene. Terpenes are the oils from citrus rind. The terpenes created in nature may be effective on greases, oils and some adhesives, but most are quite flammable. The terpene, d-Limonene is on a list of suspected carcinogens.

  54. The biological component of Simple Green Pet Stain & Odor Remover is a combination of several different non-harmful bacteria that produce enzymes when they are in the presence of organic soil (food) and moisture (water). Soaking a urine spot with Simple Green Pet Stain & Odor Remover unleashes the bacteria to start making enzymes to convert organic soils into digestible food for the bacteria. If the spot dries out before all organics have been consumed, some of the urine salts can still remain. It is recommended that if the stain is still visible, or the smell remains, to first wet the area with plain water and allow the bacteria to continue doing their work. If stain and smell still remain, a second application of the product is warranted.
