Ultimate Blog Party Time!

Ultimate Blog Party 2009

Hi everyone! I hope that you are having a fabulous time at the ultimate blog party! If not be sure to go over to 5 minutes for mom and check out the fun! Hello everyone my name is Sarah and now for a little about me. . . I am first and foremost a single mom who is fortunate enough to have an awesome daughter. I am also a registered nurse. I work at a children's psychiatric hospital on a full time basis. In my spare time I love to keep up my blog! I started my blog a long time ago during one of the bloggy carnivals and yes that was the main reason. Shame on me! Recently I decided this would be a great way to keep friends and family posted on Brea's new accomplishments and an easy way to show off recent pictures at work. Since starting I have come to realize that blogging is about so much more than that! I love meeting new people and hearing their stories about life. Quite often I have ran across information that was either helpful or absolutely needed at that time. It is great to find others out in the world who are going through the same things you are!

    I'm a high school teacher, so I sometimes work with kids with psych issues. I can't imagine the strength it would take to work with kids who have those issues all the time. It must be rough emotionally.

    Hi! I'm stopping by with the Blog Party! What is it like working in a children's psychiatric hospital? How old are the children? I work with children with special needs, and I once worked in a therapeutic learning center for preschoolers with serious psychiatric disorders (such as RAD, schizophrenia, etc)it was actually one of my favorite jobs ever!
