Lavender Lab from Cloud B Review!

While visiting Cloud B, I came across the Lavender Lab. Lavender is naturally calming and the scent is often used as a sleep aid. Before having Brea I used to spray my pillow with lavender spray to help me sleep. As most of you know I co-sleep so lavender spray is not really an option at the moment. I think it may be a little strong for Brea. So when I saw the Lavender Lab I knew that this could be truly beneficial and when I came across the opportunity to do a review for Brea's Mommy I jumped on it!

The Lavender Lab has packets of Lavender and other aromatherapy products inside. To release the scents all you need to do is squeeze the Lavender Lab's head and back. After releasing the scents just lay the Lavender Lab on your child's pillow until it is time for sleep. Then remove the Lavender Lab when your child is ready to sleep.

The calming effects of the aromatherapy packets will help your child fall asleep and sleep throughout the night. The scent lasts up to 5 years!

Our opinion of the Lavender Lab . . .

Brea loves dogs so every night when she sees the Lavender Lab on her pillow she says "doggy." I usually let her pet the "doggy" before we remove him off of the bed. Surprisingly she does not seem to get upset when I remove the dog from the bed. I actually thought this maybe an issue.

I think the Lavender Lab is great. I have noticed that Brea does appear to sleep better on nights that the Lavender Lab had been on her pillow. Brea has always been a very restless sleeper and she flops all over the bed during the night. Since using the Lavender Lab I have also noticed a decrease in her flopping, which also means I sleep better!

I think the only thing left is buying a Lavender Lab for my pillow. I think I am getting a little jealous.

Do you want your own Lavender Lab to help your sleeping angel? If so head on over to Cloud B and while you are there check out all of the other great sleep related products for kids!

Brea's Mommy Spotlight on PR!

Hi! Welcome to Brea's Mommy! My name is Sarah and I want you to know that I am very happy you have you stopped in. First and foremost I am a single mom of a beautiful 22 month old little girl. She is my world and we have a lot of fun trying new products. As you may notice reviews on Brea's Mommy also include Brea's reaction to products that are applicable as well as my own opinion. If Brea can use it or eat it then I feel that her opinion is also important to my readers after all quite a few of them have kids of their own!

In addition to being a single mom I also work full time as a registered nurse at a children's psychiatric hospital. This job has made me more aware of all of the horrific things that happen to children and has also made me realize that these things can happen to anyones child. No one is an exception, but knowledge is power. With this in mind I really love reviewing products that increase awareness to children's psychiatric issues, child abuse, and childhood trauma. By reviewing these products I truly hope that I may help a child in need.

I am also a brand new Scentsy Consultant. I am a little lost when it comes to this type of thing. So if anyone out there knows how to make running an at home business a little easier please let me know. I would be happy to review any products that may make keeping my business organized and efficient!

With all of this going on as you can imagine I treasure my downtime (even though I don't get much). Relaxing a little is an important part of the day so if you have something that will help moms relax and enjoy themselves let me know. I would love to help get the word out!

I would also like to mention that Brea's Mommy is hosting Brea's Birthday Bash from Sept. 6th to Sept. 16th. Brea will be turning 2! If you have any products you think would be a good fit for this party please let me know! I have special plans for all products being reviewed for Brea's Birthday Bash just email me for more information!

Thanks to Feels Like Home and Adrienne’s House for hosting PR Spotlight! Please head on over if you would like to post your own Spotlight!

I learned that the target attracts the attention of the child, helping him focus on urinating into the toilet bowl.

Educator.com Review and Giveaway!

Do you or your children need help with schoolwork? Or maybe your children need help with schoolwork, but you don't quite understand it completely either? Would you like to have a tutor that works on your schedule? Or maybe you just like to learn things. If you answer yes to any of these questions Educator.com might be just what you are looking for!

Educator.com provides lessons for the following subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and a special section named Math Magic!

Learn Math -Has 34 different lessons. Including lectures on Algebra 1, Algebra 2 , Calculus BC, Calculus AB, and Statistics. Each Section is taught from beginning to end. Educator.com not only uses lectures to teach math, but each Professor walks you through many examples to get their point across! When I say walks you through I mean that you can see the equation the professor is working on and while they explain verbally they also write each step out as they complete it! These sections are great for auditory, visual, and tactile (hands on) learners.

Learn Chemistry - Has 22 Courses available. Professor Goldwhite does an excellent job explaining Chemistry. This is one subject I had a lot of difficulty with in Nursing school. Mainly because I had a poor professor. I think that if these lectures had been available at Educator.com then I would have done a lot better! These lessons would be especially beneficial for auditory and visual learners.

Learn Biology - Has 12 Courses Available. These lectures are provided by the California Regents, Professors from the University of California. These courses are quite different from the Math and Chemistry Section. The biology section is a video with the professor speaking in the background. I personally like the first two sections more because it feels like the professor is actually trying to communicate with you. I still believe that this could be beneficial to Biology Students. You just have to get past the computer like voice.

Learn Computer Science - Has 11 Courses available. Professor Gyham provides lectures for this section. Professor Gyham does appear excited about Computer Science and uses an outline during his lecture to help teach. The only issue I had was that Professor Gyham spoke really fast in some of his lessons. This may not be an issue for students who are taking his class and please keep in mind that I do not know anything about Computer Science. With that said, I have to admit I could not really keep up.

The Math Magic Section- Math Magic offers videos explaining fractions, divisibility rules, coin probability, and more. This section could even be helpful to parents who need a refresher course to help their children with schoolwork. I hope Educator.com is still around in a few years because I can already tell you I will probably need a refresher course when Brea starts bringing math home!

I think I would have to say that the best feature of Educator.com is the Outline setup. This makes it easy for students to find exactly what they need help with. I am sure that we all agree that being able to find information quickly when studying for a test is essential. Educator.com has set up their programs with this in mind!

Another thing to keep in mind is that Educator.com would be beneficial to high school students as well as college students. If you are taking a class in one of the subjects available then I would definitely encourage you to give Educator.com a try. If you want to check it out for yourself head on over to Educator.com now. They have free movies to get you started and from there you can decide if Educator.com will benefit you!
