Piggy Paints Review and coupon code!

I was so excited to be able to review Piggy Paint. My daughter is a thumb-sucker so even though she likes getting her nails painted (she thinks it is "purtee") I have only done it once. I didn't think about all of the harsh nasty chemicals that are put into nail polish until after that first time. So while Brea enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun doing it, I was scared to use it continuously. Thanks to Piggy Paint we can now paint nails as much as we want.

The Piggy Paint website states that their polish is . . .
"Non-toxic, odorless, water-based formula, hypoallergenic"

"There are no toxic chemicals; it’s free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone."

Check out this picture for an example of the difference . . .

Piggy Paint offers 13 colors and nail polish remover. They also have gift packs available!

We received Piggy Paint in Girls Rule and the nail polish remover to review!

Our thoughts -

Piggy paint is a winner in this house. I love painting Brea's nails and surprisingly she will now sit still long enough for me to paint them. We have not yet mastered the drying process, but are working on that. The polish stays better on her toes than her fingers which I am sure has to do with the fact that the polish is able to dry longer on her toes before she starts her damage!

I love that I don't have to panic or feel guilty when she sticks her thumb in her mouth after painting her nails! Anyone who has a child that sucks their thumb knows that thumb sucking is a hard habit to quit. One day I will succeed, but until then Piggy Paint is a necessity! Of course then their maybe nail biting or other bad habits that involve fingers and mouths. So maybe we will just stick with piggy paint indefinitely!

The nail polish remover is also great. I was a little hesitant at first because I thought I it would take forever to get the polish off. Boy was I wrong a couple of swipes and it was completely gone. I have used a lot of regular nail polish removers that took a lot longer to get the polish off. The best part is that it doesn't have that strong smell that regular nail polish removers have. I have always hated that smell! I have not yet tried this on regular nail polish, but it says that it works on that too. I will definitely be trying it in the future!

Brea loves her Piggy Paint! Every time she shows someone her nails she says "purtee." Since getting the Piggy Paint she has also learned the word paint and when it is time to paint her nails she jumps up on the couch! I am sure that she also loves the fact that I don't panic when she sucks her thumb and I don't keep trying t stop her! Not that it worked, but I definitely tried that first time I painted her nails!

Buy it: You can buy your own Piggy Paint for 9.99 or 3 pack for 26.50! Next on my list is Ice Cream Dream and Twinkle toes!

This is such a good idea. I am always nervous about the chemicals in nail polish. Thanks for the review.

Wow...Piggy Paint looks great! My littlest loves getting her nails painted, but I too have worried about doing it too often because of the chemicals. This is the solution I have been looking for!!
