Information for Kmart Shoppers

This is a little off topic for me, but I thought this was important information! Today Brea and I went to check out the savings a Kmart. As some off you may or may not know they are doubling coupons up to $2 this week! This is a great opportunity and while today my shopping trip was unsuccessful (Brea threw a fit) I plan on going back tomorrow. While I was there I spotted all kinds of deal that I can't wait to get my hands on. When I got there I went up to the front desk just to be sure they were honoring the ad, which luckily they were. While at the counter the manager also informed that . . .
coupons were only being doubled if the item was more than the doubled coupon. So upon further questioning I found out that there is no way to get the product absolutely free it MUST be at least 1 cent above the total savings. This is not a big deal to me, but it did impact some of the items that I will need to buy. I have never heard of this before so I thought I would pass it on. I don't know if it is this way at every store or not.
